Dana grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland, where she began acting as a young girl. Wanting to be classically trained in the theatre and to learn the ropes in a vibrant, magnetic center of art and culture, she found the answer was simple. One stop. New York City. She earned her B.F.A. with Honors in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, studying at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Stonestreet Studios for Film and TV. After working on several films in New York, she knew Los Angeles was the place for her to grow professionally in film and television. Her dauntless desire to strengthen her imagination and to continue developing her craft brought her to The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio, where she completed their two-year Meisner technique program. Filled with a great love for art and the California coast, Dana enjoys living in Los Angeles telling simple, vivid stories of great depth, freshness, and authenticity.
